Yes! If you have a specific idea for a piece of jewelry, or would like your pelt mounted as a taxidermy piece, please feel free to reach out to me so we can work something out!
Cicada wings are collected by me in my local area after they have passed naturally in the summer. All feathers are naturally molted and collected from either parrot aviaries or small family owned farms. Most snake bones are from natural or accidental deaths, but some are acquired from the control of invasive species such as pythons in Florida. Moths and butterflies are received from two primary sources; either deceased bugs in my local area or from moth and butterfly aviaries where most are released into the wild for conservation purposes. A portion of the moths raised live out the rest of their lives in the aviaries and are acquired after they are deceased. Coyote and fox bones are from both pest control as well as natural death. No animals were killed for the sole purpose of my work.
My jewelry is made from metals such as brass, copper, and silver. Most customers with sensitive ears do not have any reactions, but ear wires can be swapped out for stainless steel options if requested.
